The largest structure in Telliskivi Quarter – M-Building – divides the area both physically and perceptually. Once an industrial facility, it now houses a car park, exhibition spaces, as well as several cafés and bars.
A new passage reconnects the previously separated parts of the quarter. This tunnel-like corridor leads through layers of industrial architecture: late 19th-century brickwork, additions from the 20th century, and the most recent intervention – a lightweight steel-mesh gallery.
Framed portals and the temporary, transparent structure add a new layer to M-Building, enriching its diverse and organically evolving architectural story.
