The concept was to design a dwelling from prefabricated concrete panels with soft, rounded corners. Its flat roof, light tone, one-and-a-half-storey volume and use of natural materials create an inviting contrast to the surrounding architecture.
The form of the house is simple, articulated by the second-storey volume. A basement level is accessible both from inside and outside.
The compact mass is complemented by curved terrace areas at the front and back, as well as sculptural retaining walls in prefabricated concrete.
Both the interior and the outdoor spaces are deliberately minimal, free from unnecessary detail. The strict geometry of the stainless-steel street-side fence underlines this simplicity.
